The couple married in 2011, but their relationship had a rocky start, so it’s not surprising their marriage only lasted for four years. When Shelton and Lambert first met doing a duet, “The Voice” judge was married to his first wife Kaynette Gern.

Years later the couple became an item and both have insisted that Shelton’s first marriage was over before they ever got together, according to Fox News.

Rumors about their marriage hitting the rocks have been around since 2013, but amped up in the past few months.

TMZ reports that Lambert will live in couple’s Nashville house and he will remain in Oklahoma. No other details about their divorce have been revealed.
