And so it is finally done. The parents of reality TV star Kim Kardashian have finally separated. Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner’s divorce was finalized in a Los Angeles County Court where the legal documents were signed, but the couple will not be officially divorced until March 23rd, 2015, say their divorce attorneys. This is because there is a six month legal requirement that needs to be fulfilled as per the law in Nevada.

No pre-nuptials in place

The couple have not signed a pre-nuptial agreement fuelling rumors that there could be bitter fights in the future as between other celebrities in Hollywood who have enormous amounts of wealth and not even an ounce of understanding on how to share it. But Kris’ divorce lawyers say that there will be no spousal support as part of the agreement and Kris will pay Bruce $2.5 million as equalization payment. Whether this will be all or will we see some more juicy bits of gossip pertaining to this reality TV couple’s divorce remains to be seen.

Home appliances, furniture, has already been shared

As of now, the news that has floated in suggests that Kris will be keeping the family home and the other assets and bank accounts will be jointly divided. There is a lot of expensive furniture, art work, gifts that the two had received as wedding presents, and costly home appliances that are up on the list of sharable goodies. According to sources, the couple has already reached an amicable decision on how best to share these tangible items and they will keep their allotted share of the goods when the final separation happens in May next year.

The pair also has a lot of business interests and intellectual property that they need to divide properly. Kris and Bruce will probably be keeping all the work that has been created by them or in their name without infringing on the other’s share. Thankfully, the lines are very clearly drawn in this regard.

Bruce keeps the Porsche!

Also on the list of shareable assets are the numerous cars that the couple had jointly owned. Kris is known to be partial to her 2012 Rolls Royce Ghost and she will be keeping that post the divorce. Along with this, she will also continue to own her 2014 Bentley, and a Land Rover while Bruce will get his share of the wheels with a 2011 Porsche 97 Coupe and a 2013 Cadillac Escalade. Bruce will also retain his 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle, which frankly speaking was expected. We cannot see Kris ever wanting to ride that mean machine!

Family is still no.1 priority

There are credit card points and airline miles which are easy to divide, with each person keeping their share. Kylie Jenner, who is only 17 years old right now will remain under joint legal and physical custody of both parents but neither spouse will be required to pay child support.

Kris had filed for divorce earlier in September, but she continued to remain friendly with Bruce for the sake of the family. The couple maintain that they will continue to remain friendly and make the family their number one priority.
