Los Angeles, CA- the Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian divorce is an ongoing saga that appears to have no end, but new testimony has surfaced which may prove to undo Kim’s claim that she married Kris out of love. A deposition from the producer Kim Kardashian’s popular reality show could provide ammunition for Kris Humphries divorce team and bolster his claims that their marriage was a fraud.

Last month, “Keeping up with the Kardashians” producer Russell Jay testified at his deposition that some scenes in the show involving Humphries were scripted, re-shot and edited, according to Life & Style online.

In the deposition, Jay said that the scene where Kris proposed to Kim was not a surprise to the reality star and was in fact scripted.  Kim apparently knew about the proposal before it was shot and actually asked for a retake because she didn’t like her reaction, according to the Huffington Post.

“Kim told Kris how, where and when to propose, it was absolutely no surprise to her whatsoever,” an insider previously told the website. “First of all, Kris proposed in the middle of the day, and he had to do that because it would create better lighting to capture the moment. Kim looked so surprised but she knew it was happening. She was in full hair and make-up, as she always is on the show. Kris wanted it to be very intimate and romantic, but all of his ideas were shot down by production officials and Kim.”

Jay also told Life & Style that the scene where Kim confesses to her mother that she thought her marriage to Kris was crumbling was actually taped after Kim filed for divorce on October, 31st, 2011. Reality Tea previously reported that scene was shot on a soundstage and put into the show to make her seem more sympathetic.

One reality TV insider told the New York Post “This is normal procedure on reality shows.”

Even though Kris and Kim had a prenuptial agreement which would have paid him millions, the basketball player wanted to have their marriage annulled based on the fact that he believed she married him in order to generate publicity for her reality show and for financial gain.

For the 17 months, Humphries and his legal team has been gathering evidence to try and prove the marriage was a fraud and information provided by Jay may give their argument weight.

So far Kris’s legal team had deposed many of Kim’s associates, including her current boyfriend and father of her baby Kanye West. Kim’s deposition which will be taped is scheduled to take place within the next two weeks.

It won’t be certain that Jay’s testimony will have impact until Kris and Kim go to court. Their divorce trial is scheduled to begin on May 6th.

In another twist to their ongoing battle, Kim says that Jay’s deposition was leaked in order to damage her, but doesn’t think it will prove she committed fraud.
