Actor James Caan falls into the “can’t decide” category since he recently filed for divorce from his wife Linda for the third time, TMZ reports.
The Godfather star married Linda Stokes 18 years ago and they had two sons together, but their marriage has not been without tumult. Caan first filed for divorce in 2005 and then again in 2009.
According to court documents, which were filed on January 9th, Caan is seeking joint custody of their 16 year-old son.
The couple apparently has no prenuptial agreement.
Caan was divorced three times before marrying Linda.
Another long Hollywood marriage will soon be coming to an end. Last Friday, news broke that Patrick Dempsey of Grey’s Anatomy fame is getting a divorce from his wife of 15 years.
According to Us magazine, Dempsey’s wife Jillian Fink filed for divorce on January 21st citing irreconcilable differences.
“It is with careful consideration and mutual respect that we have decided to end our marriage,” the couple said in a joint statement to Us magazine. “Our primary concern remains the well being of our children, and we ask with profound gratitude that you respect our family’s privacy at this very sensitive time.”
Fink is seeking joint custody of their three children Tallulah Fyfe, 12, Sullivan Patrick and Darby Galen, 7, according to Us magazine. She is seeking spousal support and has asked her estranged husband cover her attorney fees.
Dempsey and Fink don’t have a prenuptial agreement either.
