As their last name suggests, the McCourts are back in divorce court, with Jaime McCourt claiming her ex husband Frank underrated the value of the Los Angeles Dodgers team (which he owned) when he sold them earlier this year for $2 billion, the highest figure ever paid for a pro sports team.

“Mr. McCourt got about 93 percent of the family assets, and Mrs. McCourt got about 7 percent,” said Jamie McCourt’s California divorce attorney, Bertram Fields, to The Associated Press. “We would’ve much preferred to have this massive imbalance resolved with some modification, but we got no response to that approach. We didn’t want to have more family litigation, but now it’s up to the court.”

The motion was filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court and alleges Frank committed fraud by misrepresenting the Dodgers assets as worth less than $300 million. When the marriage ended in October 2010, Jamie McCourt received $131 million in the divorce settlement. However, the new filing says that after the team was sold, Frank’s net worth increased to over $1.7 billion, over 10 times the amount Jamie received.

The Dodgers went into bankruptcy protection in June 2011, but Frank was able to sell the team last May for $2 billion. A hearing on the case has been scheduled for Nov. 16.
